Gutter cleaning questions, answered
The things Perth homeowners, renters and property managers ask us most. Still not sure about something? Give us a call and we will talk it through.
Gutter cleaning basics
For most Perth homes, twice a year works well: once before winter to clear summer leaf drop, and once in late spring. Homes under gums, paperbarks or jacarandas, and properties near bushland, often need clearing every three to four months.
Debris builds up until water overflows the edge instead of draining. That overflow gets into the eaves, fascia and ceiling and pools around the slab, which is where the expensive damage starts.
Always. We bag and remove the debris and leave your paths, gardens and outdoor areas tidy. Cleaning up after ourselves is part of the job, not an extra.
It is a no-mess method where a powerful vacuum lifts leaves, sludge and debris straight out of the gutter into a bin, rather than scooping it onto your roof or garden. It keeps the job clean and is well suited to many single and double-storey homes.
Access and safety
Yes. We plan safe access for double-storey homes using the right ladders and equipment, and our powerful gutter vacuum lifts debris straight into a bin, keeping the job clean and low-risk.
We access roofs carefully and, where possible, work from ladders and the gutter line to avoid putting weight on fragile tiles. We adjust our approach to suit each roof type.
Yes. We clean gutters on tiled, Colorbond and other metal roofs, and adjust our access and footing to suit each roof so we do not crack tiles or dent sheeting.
Not necessarily. As long as we have access to the roof and a power point if needed, plenty of jobs are done while the owner is out. We send photos of the finished job either way.
Pricing and scheduling
Single-storey homes start at $250 plus GST and double-storey at $360 plus GST, with a free roof audit and finished photos included. The price depends on the height, the length of guttering and how blocked it is, and we confirm it before we start.
Yes. We run 6 and 12 monthly maintenance plans for homes, strata and commercial sites, with no lock-in. We schedule each clean and time it around Perth's seasons so you do not have to track it.
Yes. Blocked and overflowing gutters are one of the most common jobs we get, especially before a storm. Let us know it is urgent and we will book you in at the earliest available time.
Yes. We work with strata managers, body corporates and commercial property owners. We coordinate access, schedule the work to suit the site and provide photos of the completed job for your records.
Add-on services
Yes, as an add-on. While we are on the roof for a gutter clean we can gently clean your solar panels to remove the dust and bird droppings that cut their output.
Yes, as an add-on. We can pressure clean driveways, paths and paving in the same visit as your gutter clean, so you sort both in one trip.
The free roof audit is part of the job. If we spot rusted sections, loose brackets or other visible wear, we let you know and send photos so you can decide what you want to do next.
