How Perth Gutter Cleaning Pros, a trading name of Apex Property Services (WA), ABN 27 662 758 189, handles your personal information.
We clean gutters. The only personal information we hold is what you send us when you ask for a quote or book a job, and this page says plainly what happens to it. If anything here is unclear, ring us on (08) 6275 6557.
What we collect
What you type into a quote request: your name, email address, phone number, your suburb, the service you want, how many storeys the property is, whether it is insured, and whatever you write in the message. You can attach photographs of the gutters or the property, and that is your choice rather than something the form requires. Our web host also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses.
What we do with it
We use it to quote the job, arrange a time and do the work. That is the purpose. We do not run a mailing list and we do not send marketing.
Where it is kept
Your enquiry is emailed to us, and a copy is written to a log on the server so an enquiry is not lost if an email fails to deliver. Both are ours; neither is shared.
Who else sees it
The mail service that carries the email to our inbox, in transit only. Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or trade enquiry details, and we do not share them for advertising.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies and tells us how many people visited, which pages they read and roughly which region they came from. It is used for that and nothing else, it is never joined to your enquiry, and you can block it with any browser setting or extension that blocks analytics.
The captcha
The picture puzzle on the contact form is ours and runs on our own server. It is there to stop automated spam and it does not send anything about you to a third party.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and job records are kept while the job is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, for warranty questions and our own tax records. Ask us to delete yours and we will, subject to anything we are legally required to hold.
Photographs of your property
Photographs you send are used to quote and to plan the job. Photographs we take on site are used for our own records and, sometimes, on this website or our social media. If you would rather we did not, say so and we will not. A property is never named or addressed in a public photograph.
Seeing or deleting what we hold
Email or ring us and ask. We will tell you what we have about you, correct anything wrong, or delete it. There is no charge and you do not need to give a reason.
Security, honestly stated
Enquiries travel over an encrypted connection and the accounts holding them are password protected. No system is perfect, and we would rather say that than promise something nobody can guarantee.
Complaints
Tell us first and we will try to sort it out. If you are not satisfied, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner takes privacy complaints at oaic.gov.au.
